Emergency Service Awards Committee
The CBCC Emergency Services Awards, founded by the W. Atlee Burpee family, have been an integral part of the community for over five decades. The awards honor a volunteer firefighter and ambulance volunteer from over 32 companies for their devotion to saving lives and property.

The Annual Emergency Service Awards honors the heroic individuals volunteering for our local Ambulance Squads and Fire Companies. Honorees are nominated by their squad and awarded that night for their dedication and bravery in helping others in our community. The night is to show our appreciation to our outstanding firefighters and EMTs – for their courage and commitment to our community that does not go unnoticed!
